On June 1st, the neighbors at the intersection of Ingmar Bergmansgata and Nybrogatan hosted a joint street festival. This event, much like last year’s, promised to be even better this time around. Mikael Einarsson captured the essence perfectly: “They say once is nothing, twice is a habit, and three times is a tradition. Even though it’s the first year the three of us are doing this together, we already see it as a habit. We look forward to making this an annual tradition where we kick off the summer season with a communal street fest open to everyone!”
This year, La Petite Soeur, in collaboration with its sister restaurant Chez Jolie, was also part of the organizing team, bringing their unique charm to the celebration. With their newly added outdoor seating area, generous wine list, and cozy atmosphere, these establishments undoubtedly elevated the festival experience.
You could expect a variety of attractions, including live music and drinks from a slush machine with two different flavors to cool off under the blazing sun. There were also a rotisserie and an oyster bar, along with much more to delight all senses. The atmosphere was charged with energy, enthusiasm, and a sense of community as locals and visitors gathered to enjoy the festivities.
Mikael Einarsson’s enthusiasm was shared by all the organizers, who saw this as a fantastic opportunity to bring people together, celebrate the start of summer, and create lasting memories.
